I began working in collage in 2013. I bought a box full of used cookbooks and scientific atlases from the Newberry Library's used book fair in Chicago and made an awesome mess in my studio apartment. Since then I've gathered materials at thrift stores, garage sales, etc - this work is ongoing, although the materials are always changing. I recently (March 2018) began offering prints of my work for sale (( )).

I am interested in the process of hand-drawn images (vintage ads) and pre-digital photography (scientific primers), specifically how they are 1) irreversibly altered by my physical hand (cutting/pasting, destroying the images on the reverse side of the page) and 2) the limited number of combinations (working from physical found media as opposed to the digital infinity archive of The Internet, and 3) that work then being digitized and purchased/printed via That Same Internet.
