Self Portrait Series
In September 2017 I moved from Austin TX back to Chicago & I found myself in a period between full-time traditional employment which allowed me the space and time to devote to my (then stagnant) practice. I started painting self-portraits and found them to be a perfect & obvious method for exploring new materials and styles - the same subject (me) being the constant.
